Science Popularization
In 2008, while Giovanni Volpe was at
ICFO-The Institute of Photonic Sciences, together with Armand Niederberger and Giorgio Volpe, he initiated
Optics & Photonics Focus, an independent magazine, which reviews important recent developments in the fields of optics and photonics, and of which he has been Editor ever since. The project is run by an international group of scientists and is now sponsored by the
Optical Society of America and the
European Physical Society.
Giovanni Volpe has also contributed popular-scientific articles to
Contemporary Physics,
Europhysics News,
OSA Focal Point, and
Global Talent News.
